Our mantra and logo – find your game.

String is about knowing your game and all the components.  String is having the perseverance and creativity to create a pocket, a style, and a way for yourself.  String is the ability to analyze your game.  String is appreciating hard work.  String is what you make it.

String, create, and discover.

Breakout Lacrosse will host workshop for RSoS!

Breakout Lacrosse, one of DC’s best lacrosse training, camp, and all-star team organization, will host a workshop in NW DC — dates to be announced soon!

Click to check out Breakout Lacrosse website!

Breakout has an outstanding group of coaches who are focused on teaching lacrosse as well as providing guidance on sportsmanship and being a good, upstanding person.  I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend them to any player looking for some great insight and coaching into the sport of lacrosse.

And the 2nd session, 1st workshop — learn as much as you want!

During our 2nd session of the workshop, we encourage our students to ask as many questions as possible, learn as much as possible, and, of course, have a lot of fun doing it.

All of that paired up with some jams, laughs, and pizza:

First session a success.

Max, Me (Greg), Sean, and Austin – Stringducators (we kind of look like peacocks by the way we’re standing, weird.)

Above you can see us stringers smiling after a successful first class.  Thanks to our crew for doing a great job.

We had 6 kids aged 8-12 and 2 dads in our first trial class.  Everyone left with a strung stick: some better than others.  Surprisingly, or not so surprisingly, the 8 year old’s were much better at listening than the adults…our 12 year olds really shined with the right mix of listening and practical application.

Thanks to all our students who participated: your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Big Hugh, father of Donal, Michael, and little Hugh, learned to string along with his 3 boys.

Motive Pure is a new partner!

Staying mentally and physically at the top of your game is much easier with the proper hydration.  Check out Andy Roddick’s abs on their website, plus Jesse Hubbard laxin’ on the beach!

Pictures added to class demo!

Peep a pic!

I really like the Proton Power (best scoop around, great shape), but there are definitely easier sticks to string: in terms of getting exactly what you want from the pocket. Tends to be either too whippy, or not whippy enough (my tastes showing through).

Lacrosse Playground is really cool.

Something about that name entices me, I want to know more.  These guys are the Perez Hilton of anything lacrosse and cool.  From fresh new Nike’s to a new style stringing, they are on the cutting edge.  I’m excited to work with them, as anyone should be.
